These films were made for The Labour Party during the winter election of 2019, working with MPs re-election campaign across the UK and with Ross Kemp, who travelled across the UK to lend his support to Labour MPs.
During Ross Kemp's tour of the UK for the Labour Party. Ross visited Holly Lynch at Halifax Boxing Club. Austerity has hit hard, communities visibly cut to their bare bones. 70p from every pound has been cut from council budgets since 2009, meaning for places like Halifax Boxing Club, set up and run for and by the community they are on their knees financially, surviving because of the brilliance of their volunteers but also their own money.
Ross Kemp speaks at a Working Mens Club in Redcar, an area left devastated after the closing of the Steel Workers two years previously.
