Joshua is a documentary photographer and journalist currently based in Berlin. He has an MA in International Relations from King’s College London on the conflict in Sri Lanka from 2009 with focus on the Tamil community's struggle for justice. Upon graduating Joshua went to live in Sri Lanka to better understand the realties of life for the Tamil community in the period immediately after the civil war. In Sri Lanka, he worked as a field researcher and photojournalist for INFORM, a Human Rights Documentation Centre. His photographic work is primarily concerned with why certain events, stories and people are forgotten and using photography to counter this misrepresentation. 

Joshua clients include The Labour Party, Christian Solidarity Worldwide and The Mayor of London. 

Joshua has a Hostile Environment Awareness Training qualification and is a member of the Frontline Freelance Register.
